Message from the Director
Occupational and physical therapy as a rehabilitation profession helps people with disabilities to improve their quality of life, and to restore their human rights. These are promising occupations, which can not be replaced by AI and/or robots. Occupational and physical therapy needs both knowledge and skills for rehabilitative medical care as well as humanity to understand patients’ emotional pain and feelings. It is also necessary to keep up with advances in the field of medicine and health care.
The YIC Rehabilitation College provides high-quality education and training for rehabilitation science and clinical practice. Our special programs prepare students to pass the certified occupational and physical therapy national qualifying examination. In addition to our faculty members, a number of lecturers, from several universities, who are specialists in the fields, contribute to offering new knowledge, theory and skills. Fostering a pleasant, respectful environment on campus, our dedicated and experienced faculty members support cultivating an enriched humanity.
We invite you to challenge possibility in the YIC Rehabilitation College. We hope you will accomplish your goal to be a skilled occupational or physical therapist, based on our school motto of “Train and prepare for a bright future”.
Makoto Inui, M.D. & Ph.D
